Dr. Vilas Nene received his B.Tech. (Hons.), M.Tech. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, all from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India. He works in Vienna, Virginia as a consulting engineer and has written extensively on ground transportation, air traffic control, and space systems issues. In addition, he studies Hindu philosophy and lectures on the subject at high schools and colleges in the United States. Dr. Nene has been married to his wife Sadhana for over thirty years and they have three children.
